SON OF AURELIUS: 'Mercy For Today' Video Released

"Mercy For Today", the new video from Santa Cruz, California-based technical death metallers SON OF AURELIUS, can be viewed below. The song comes off the band's new album, "The Farthest Reaches", which was released on April 13 via Good Fight Music. The CD was produced by Zack Ohren at Castle Ultimate Studios in Oakland, California and was mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music (CONVERGE, HATEBREED, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN) in New Windsor, New York.

SON OF AURELIUS will head out on the road with AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK, OCEANO and as part of the "Over The Limit Tour" starting this coming Monday, August 9 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After wrapping this trek, SON OF AURELIUS will join CATTLE DECAPITATION on tour for about a month, starting in Tempe, Arizona on September 29.

The deluxe edition of "The Farthest Reaches" came out on July 6. The digital-only release, which includes five brand-new, never-before -heard tracks, is available with a special low pricing of $9.99.

SON OF AURELIUS' new material picks up where the band left off on "The Farthest Reaches", with a progressive mix of blazing technical death metal while showcasing a strong sense of development and cohesiveness in the group's songwriting.
